The company has been in existence for 80 years and so is committed to the long term and as such fully appreciates the consequences of climate change on their business. They are also very aware of how energy intensive their manufacturing processes are and want to put a dedicated strategy in place to reduce their energy consumption and hence carbon emissions.
The company was approached by one of their clients who wanted to understand the carbon footprint of a selection of their electrical cables. They saw this as a good opportunity to understand their corporate as well as their upstream and downstream emissions.
